Tennis at the Dilmun Club

DILMUN TENNIS SECTION

The Dilmun Tennis Section has its own committee that run a number of activities such as social tennis nights, tournaments, matches against other clubs, ladders and social events. Activities are based on the social tennis nights that are held on the Dilmun Courts on Saturdays and Mondays from 6pm and Wednesdays from 6.30pm.

 

We run an Annual Membership system for our Social Tennis members. This costs BD15 per annum and entitles you to play as much social tennis as you wish. This cost is additional to the Dilmun membership. Non Annual Members and Visitors are welcome to play at a cost of 500 fils per session.

Committee meetings are held monthly and there is an Annual General Meeting held every October.

Matches against other Tennis Clubs

During 2010 we intend to hold competitive matches against other tennis clubs in Bahrain and maybe outside Bahrain. Matches will be at different levels of ability. We will accept challenges from other clubs.

 

Tournaments

 

We will hold various one day events during the year and are planning tournaments with a full range of categories - Mens & Ladies Singles, Mens & Ladies Doubles and Mixed Doubles

 

Ladders

 

We are starting Mens and Ladies Singles Ladders and members are welcome to join.
