DILMUN TENNIS SECTION
The Dilmun Tennis Section has its own committee that run a number of activities such as social tennis nights, tournaments, matches against other clubs, ladders and social events. Activities are based on the social tennis nights that are held on the Dilmun Courts 3 times a week on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 6 pm and on Wednesdays from 7 pm.
We run an Annual Membership system for our Social Tennis members. This costs BD12 per annum and entitles you to play as much social tennis as you wish. This cost is additional to the Dilmun membership. Non Annual Members and Visitors are welcome to play at a cost of 500 fils per session.

Committee meetings are held monthly and there is an Annual General Meeting held every October.
Matches against other Tennis Clubs
We have already held two matches against the British Club and during the year will hold others against anyone brave enough to take us on. There used to be the Bahrain Tennis League for the more serious players but that seems to have fallen by the wayside but who knows it may be resurrected.
Tournaments
We have already held a couple of one day tournaments and a Mixed Doubles Tournament. Mens Singles, Ladies Singles, Mens Doubles and Ladies Doubles will be held during May this year.
There will be tournaments later in the year including a Club Championship and an Open Tournament.
